Plants vs. Zombies Hybrid Edition is a fan-made game based on the original Plants vs. Zombies, created by Bilibili content creator “潜艇伟伟迷.” The core idea is simple: combine the abilities of different plants into a single new unit — for example, a “Pea Sunflower” that both attacks and produces sunlight, or a “Torch Wall-nut” that blocks enemies while igniting passing peas. In a way, it fulfills the childhood fantasy of countless veteran PVZ players: “What if a Peashooter could also generate sun?”
The game currently features an Adventure Mode with 67 levels, along with Challenge Mode, Survival Mode, and more. It’s been updated regularly, and as of 2026, it has reached version v3.17, with a remake version also in development.
