Kuro Games has officially revealed Wuthering Waves Version 3.4, “The Dream Not Dreamed,” and it’s shaping up to be one of the game’s biggest updates yet. Launching June 8, 2026, this patch brings a full Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover, two new 5-star characters (one free), a brand‑new Night City area, a separate crossover banner system, and a ton of system improvements. If you’re planning your pulls or just want to know what’s worth farming, here’s everything you need.
Edgerunners Crossover: Lucy and Rebecca Join Solaris

The collaboration, officially titled “The Dream Not Dreamed,” is a fully voiced story chapter co‑developed with Studio Trigger. Players will encounter visitors from another dimension inside Somnoire, leading to new conflicts where reality and dreams blur.
A mysterious door to Night City has appeared in the Starry Academy, causing spatial anomalies in Somnoire. The story centers on Lucy’s search for “the Moon,” connecting the worlds of Jinzhou and Night City while continuing the emotional themes left unresolved in Edgerunners.
- Side Quest “Edge of the Dream” : Available after maintenance on June 8. Follow Lucy and Rebecca as they cross into Solaris. Automatically unlocked after completing the Tide Quest “Under the Melting Night Sky.”
- Tide Quest Interlude “We Choose the Sky” : Starts June 13.
- The collaboration story will remain permanently available after the event ends. You won’t miss it even if you’re busy during the patch.
The limited‑time area “Inner Domain – Night City” is built from Lucy’s memories, faithfully recreating the neon‑lit cyberpunk aesthetic. The iconic track I Really Want to Stay at Your House will also be added to the in‑game radio.
Crossover Characters: Lucy (Limited 5★) + Rebecca (Free 5★)
Two Edgerunners characters are playable in 3.4:

- Lucy (Limited 5★, Pistol) : Available on the crossover banner. Lucy fights with mono‑wire and hacking skills. Her ultimate has a hacker‑UI visual, and her Outro protects allies while paralyzing attackers. Her special ability lets her see enemies behind walls – and she shares this with Rebecca, allowing Rebecca’s attacks to pierce walls. When Lucy leaves the field, if the next teammate is attacked, a counter‑program will stall the enemy. Signature weapon: “Mirage.”

- Rebecca (5★, Electro, Pistol) : Free for everyone. Reach Union Level 10 and participate in the main event – no pulls required. Rebecca can switch between pistol and shotgun modes. During her Resonance Liberation, she transforms into a huge arm borg and fires a machine gun. After leaving the field, she places an auto‑turret. If Lucy is the next character, Lucy overloads the turret for extra damage. Signature weapon: “Bone Crusher.”
Lucy and Rebecca together can trigger “Harmonic Destruction,” dealing continuous damage and a brief stun to enemies.
Before You Pull: 3.4 Crossover Banner Rules
The crossover banner is completely separate from standard banners. Here’s what you need to know:

- No standard Lustrous Tides (gold orbs / gold swords). You’ll need new red‑colored items: “Dreamcatcher Tides” (characters) and “Soulprint Tides” (weapons). These come from events, shops, or Astrite exchange.
- Separate pity : Pity does not carry over from regular banners. However, character and weapon pities are shared within the crossover banner.
- No Waveplate Corals from pulls – instead you get “Dream Corals” for a special shop (exclusive chat bubbles, backgrounds, and “Edge of the Dream – Echo Frequency”).
- Crossover items are only valid during 3.4 (about 32 days). The banner closes when the patch ends.
- Accumulated pull rewards : The “Harmony Tuning” event gives back Dreamcatcher Tides and selector boxes for Lucy/Rebecca Resonance Chains. The top tier (420 pulls) yields 30 Dreamcatcher Tides and two character chains.
- 15 free pulls from the “Dream Gift” 10‑day login event.
⚠️ The crossover banner uses its own resources – don’t accidentally convert your standard pulls. Crossover characters may never rerun, so pull wisely.
New Characters and Banner Schedule for 3.4
Besides Lucy (limited) and Rebecca (free), 3.4 brings these banners (expected timeline):
| Banner Type | Character | Attribute・Weapon | Expected Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crossover Limited | Lucy (5★) | Pistol | June 8 (patch launch) |
| Free via Event | Rebecca (5★) | Electro・Pistol | June 8 (claim in event) |
| New Character | Luosera (5★) | Glacio・Rectifier | ~June 13 |
| Rerun | Cartethyia (5★) | Aero・Sword | ~June 18 |

- Luosera : Glacio rectifier with a dual‑form combat style (assassin mode). Signature weapon “Frame Freeze” changes appearance with her form. Based on early info, Luosera has strong synergy with Feixue (the 3.3 character). Feixue owners may want to keep an eye on her.
- Cartethyia : Aero sword character – a good chance to pick her up if you missed her first run.
New Area: “Inner Domain – Night City” (Permanent)
“Inner Domain – Night City” is a permanent crossover area created from Lucy’s memories – a neon‑drenched cyberpunk city that never sees daylight.
- Unlock condition : Complete the Tide Quest “Under the Starry Ice” to reach the Transport Depot.
- During the event, “Next Stop: Night City” gives a preview.
- After finishing the side quest “Edge of the Dream,” you can return anytime.
Also new: “Intrusion Protocol” and “Quick Hacks” puzzles (inspired by Cyberpunk 2077’s hacking), which cost RAM to use.

Should You Pull? 3.4 Pulling Advice

- For most players: First priority – claim free Rebecca.
- Edgerunners fans: Lucy is a limited crossover character with strong collector appeal. Rerun chances are very uncertain – if you want her, now is likely the only opportunity.
- Meta‑focused players: Wait for live server performance data on Luosera before committing. She seems to have high synergy with Feixue – Feixue owners should pay attention.
Overall, Wuthering Waves 3.4 is the most content‑packed update since launch – a major milestone blending IP collaboration, story expansion, and generous freebies.
Last reminder : Version 3.4 “The Dream Not Dreamed” goes live June 8, 2026. The crossover banner uses independent “Dreamcatcher Tides” – completely separate from standard Lustrous Tides. Redeem the preview codes before May 31.
